PASSION FOR HEALTHCARE
Public health and health education are extremely important issues that I am committed to helping. From environmental issues such as air pollution to simple ways to prevent small illnesses, education regarding how to stay in good health is vital. I believe health is the most important aspect in life and millions across the globe are not informed in how to properly take care of themselves. My goal is to promote health education to the public of impoverished regions around the world.
I am currently collaborating with the Pratham USA Foundation to develop an E-Clinic system in rural villages in India and parts of Bangladesh. The project has been on going for 6 months and hope to make it into a reality within the next year.
As fundraising chair for the Leukemia and Lymphoma society, I have organized and hosted a health awareness gala to promote the education of chronic illnesses and raise money for research and clinical trials
